Schölly Fiberoptic GmbH is once again undergoing a reorganization of its shareholding structure. Aesculap AG will become the sole shareholder on January 1, 2023 and will thus take over the entire company shares of the family business.

B. Braun is deeply saddened by the death of Michael Ungethüm - a unique man of business, science and culture
Prof. Dr. Dr. h.c. Michael Ungethüm passed away on August 4 at the age of 78. He was Chairman of the Management Board of Aesculap AG for 19 years and a member and Vice Chairman of the Management Board of what is now B. Braun SE from 2000 to 2009.

Changes in the Aesculap Management Board
B. Braun's surgical division Aesculap has a new Management Board. After Dr. Jens von Lackum had already taken over as Chairman of the Management Board effective April 1st, 2022, the Aesculap Supervisory Board yesterday appointed two new members to the Management Board: Prof. Dr. Holger Reinecke and Andreas Hahn will join the board on July 1st, 2022.

Strategic decision: B. Braun divests Colombian provider business
B. Braun has decided to sell its provider and hospital services business in Colombia. Effective March 16, the local company Grupo Uros will take over all dialysis centers including their approx. 230 clinical employees. B. Braun has provided high-quality dialysis care to up to 2,000 patients over the last eight years.

Changes in the B. Braun SE Executive Board: Dr Meinrad Lugan moves to the Executive Board of the family holding company
Effective April 1, 2022, Dr Meinrad Lugan will change from the B. Braun SE Executive Board to the Executive Board of affiliated company B. Braun Familienholding Verwaltungs SE at his own request as part of a planned generational change. Dr. Lugan is thus giving up his responsibilities for the Hospital Care division.
